The Night Ministry’s Youth Outreach Van is at the corner of Belmont and Halsted in Chicago Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:30 pm offering safe, nonjudgmental support, referrals, meals, and more.

The Broadway Youth Center has meals, a health clinic, laundry, showers, and activities Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. 4009 N. Broadway, Chicago. 773-935-3151.

The free Streetlight Chicago Mobile Phone App has listings for health care services, overnight shelters, drop-in centers, and legal aid programs for young people. Download from the App Store or Google Play.
I am an adult and need emergency shelter.
You can call for transportation to an emergency shelter from a police station or hospital. Call 3-1-1 if you need assistance finding the nearest police station or hospital. Please note this is not an immediate service. Notify the operator if you have special needs when you call.

The Night Ministry’s Health Outreach Bus visits the East Garfield Park, Douglas Park, Humboldt Park, Pilsen, Rogers Park, New City, and South Shore neighborhoods, providing free health care, referrals, food, and human connection. Find the Bus schedule here.

The drop-in center at Matthew House in Bronzeville is open Monday through Saturday. Intake hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. 3722 S. Indiana. 773-536-6628.
