Requirements: Pursuing a master’s degree in social work or a related field or a recent MSW program graduate
As an intern with The Night Ministry’s Youth Programs, you will provide case management services to residents and assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, gathering information to determine realistic next steps and/or intervention goals for clients; informing clients about different options for social services and/or other services; linking clients to needed services such as housing, employment, life skills, and education; and providing counseling and guidance to clients.
Interns with our Youth Programs must pass Illinois Department of Children and Family Services background check and health clearance and be willing to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Internship opportunities will be available again for the Fall 2021 through Spring 2022 academic year.
